My first game, I'm proud of this because i finally made something and didn't get stuck in Tutorial Purgatory. And also learned some things too. There's some things I'm not sure how to fix, but I'm honestly just glad i got it out.

Hi, nice to meet you!
Please take care of your digital pet... or not, you monster.
Controls on desktop: Arrow Keys, Z, X
Hi, Nice To Meet You! is a simple tamagotchi-like / virtual pet game. It's like a desktop buddy that keeps you company. He is hungry for attention, though, but just a little bit. Wait for it to wake up. Play, feed, and clean your little blue digipet to make it feel loved. :)

Everything made by gamertheartist :)

Made a little platformer. It's my first PICO-8 game anywhere near completion. It is SUPER easy to make your own maps using the map editor, and I'd love to see what some people come up with.
I also tried to use no (I cheated for collision) YT tutorials, and relied on my Python knowledge and the Discord help channel.

Why do we fall? So we may learn how to make soup
Froglegs is a small platformer inspired by games like "Jump King" and "Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy", fashioning 1-bit styled graphics, all made with PICO-8. Our frog friend is on a quest he didn't initially embark to take, but when life gives you wells to jump down into, you learn to make soup. Oh, and starchase too, yes, starchasing is important - "Why stars?", Why anything, brother?

Learn to jump, bounce and the second law of thermodynamics, all through merely two buttons: Z and X on keyboard and (O) and (X) on PICO-8/Mobile. One to go left, one to go right. Easy peasy, right? You can also go into the pause menu (Enter or P on PC) to switch the inputs to be further confused.

Snoot
By Eric Thomas
Snoot is a fast-paced, arcade-style game where you control a small character named Snoot, navigating a grid-like map while collecting coins. The goal is to collect as many coins as possible before time runs out. The game features smooth movement, a countdown before starting, and a timer that challenges you to move quickly and think fast.
Features:
- Simple, intuitive controls (left, right, up, down) for easy navigation.
- Collect coins scattered around the map to score points.
- High score tracking, so you can try to beat your best score each time.
- A countdown sequence before the game starts, adding some extra excitement.
- Dynamic gameplay with randomly placed coins each time you play.

After a while, I finally made a Pico8 game that isn't overrated Celeste slop, about time!
Welcome to Tower of Arcania, a tough-as-nails arcade-platformer.
Your goal is to run dodge bullets, and defeat each enemy on each floor you come across.
Can you climb the 30 floors of the tower and get the very cliche-girl?
Or do you suck at videogames?
And, if you want, you can also play with a friend if they too also wish to suffer!
Controls
- β¬ οΈ β‘οΈ to move
- π ΎοΈ to jump, you can also jump off of walls
- β to shoot fireballs
Other Key Points to Know
Every 10,000 points is an extra life.
And to top that, the faster you defeat enemies, the more coins they drop.
