Hey guys!
It's getting to that festive time of year again, so why not celebrate with some Christmas themed Voxatron adventures? Feel free to use this Santa Claus model I put together in the editor in your Christmas levels!
Just make sure you give me some credit in your BBS post if you use this model. =]
Features:
- Voxel Object Bank Format!
- Animated hat while walking!
- Santa's "List" in place of the Voxatron sword; animated as if he were crossing names off of it.
- Facial Hair!
- Holiday Cheer!
It's been 10 years since you cleared out the Voxelite Infestation. The people of Ghostia praise you like a god for your heroic actions. As you enter the bar, you hear talk of dragons in Darestia. Of course, there were dragons that inhabited it long, long ago. You simply think it's just another silly rumor, but something tells you that it might be real. Overcome by curiosity, you set out to Darestia, unaware of what the Dragon God has in store for unwanted guests.
My second "Sock Ghost" game. It's a bit short, but hopefully the Boss Battle will make up for it.

I hope you enjoy this map. It took me about three weeks so far. It's not done just yet, so I would appreciate some feedback. The game may crash on you, and if it dose play it in the editor and make sure to play it in the sequence I listed below.
I discovered at least one reason for crashes. If you make an object that is 128 x 128 it can cause some problems. My previous game “Viking Adventure” crashes on the second level I believe for this reason.
Thank you Zep for making this game. I always wanted to make a game, and this helped me do that on a small scale. I learned a few things about game design that help me appreciate what goes into game. For one it's not a good idea to make a game alone. I put way too much time into this. Second, pacing a game is very important to keep people interested. For this game I made fighting stages and obstacle stages to change things up.
If you need to play this in the editor please follow this sequence: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10,11,8,12,13,14,15.
As a Sock Ghost your dream was to become one of the Fancy Hat Ghosts. After several years of training, the FHGA, or the Fancy Hat Ghost Academy, finally accepts you. Your first mission is to clear out the Voxelites. You think it's a simple task, but you simply just can't imagine what lies on the journey ahead.
This is my second level, and I'm pretty happy with it. You may not be. As always, any feedback is appreciated.

The gothic adventures of Occulous the possessed eye ball.
Just a short intro to something I am unlikely to finnish.
The severed head at the beggining might be a bit graphic... I dunno. Sorry if it offends anyone!
EDIT: Thanks for the nice comments :D The main reason I don't want to finnish it is because at the moment the only gameplay you can have in voxatron is shooting stuff and to be honest i'm not interested in that. If you want to shoot stuff you could play the dozens of levels alreads on BBS. You know exactly what would happen after I set the scene, so it wouldn't be fun making it.
However I will finnish it if enough scripting options are added to let me make puzzles and animated objects. Then I can break up the atmospheric gameplay and it won't be so monotonous to make.
