Hi,
Is it just me or did the web player all suddenly become blurry? All Pico-8 games on Lexaloffle look like the pic below. This is on Chrome/Windows 7. This is ok when switching the game to fullscreen though.
Pixels are sharp for me in Chrome on Windows.
Edit: Also Firefox and Opera.
same here (windows 10), for weeks. firefox is ok.
Also, Edge is ok now. the world is going backwwards.
edit:
same thing with linux mint, same chrome version 85.0.4183.102
though the banner player is sharp for both ( https://www.lexaloffle.com/pico-8.php )
It's broken on Chrome Version 85.0.4183.102 (Build officiel) (64 bits) on Win 7 64 bits, even with all extensions off or in private mode. Everything was fine yesterday or maybe the day before. It's ok on Brave, which I don't really use (yeah I know maybe I should ;p). Any idea @zep?
This seems to be something broken in Chrome's layout engine, but I can't figure out what it is. I've uploaded a hack work-around that absolutely should be irrelevant: turning off "margin:auto" in one of the parent divs containing the canvas and manually setting the player canvas position in javascript. I found the menu buttons (fullscreen etc. on the right) need to be overlapping with the canvas for the hack to work. Argh, what!
If you still get blurry pixels, try ctrl-shift-R to force reloading a new version of the page.
Fortunately this change in Chrome only seems to affect the BBS player, and not the default html generated by the exporter.
Ah yes, that works, thanks @zep! And you're right, Pico-8 games on itch.io were still perfectly fine, the problem only occured here on the BBS with Chrome.
