Brand New to this software but here is my first test, I've made a little character :)
This is Ami. I want to turn her in to an Esper/Physic but for now I have only done her basic walk animation. Voxatron isn't exactly animator friendly but I enjoyed the challenge and had a lot of fun making her. I will develop her more but for now feel free to use this model.
OH does anyone know how to cancel the moving animation when the player stops? She freezes on whatever frame of the animation your in when moving and i want her to go back to frame one instead. I cant figure it out :\ Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

I got Voxatron thanks to Humble Bundle (despite Voxatron was available only on the $10 plan, i bought the base price which was 1$ and it also came with Voxatron by accident) and i thought about trying the designer, but i can't find a up to date youtube tutorial (many ones are made around to 2011 to 2013) and i cannot read the manual if i haven't followed a beginner tutorial.

So, I got PICO-8, didn't see the $5 more to get Voxatron as well. I don't see a way to upgrade my account to get Voxatron for $5 more. Is there an area that I can do that and can someone point me in that direction? If there isn't is there a way I can take part in this deal still?

Ok people, it drives me crazy, I am pretty sure there is a way to capture you level's game play as a gif.
But for the love of God I can't remember what the sort cuts are.
Please advice.

Added two tutorial rooms
WIP for now, hopefully will expand on game play.
To pull the box: get close to it and press "X" button
To push the box just press "up" arrow key

i already own pico-8 with the intent of learning to code and develop video games. would voxatron be a better choice over pico-8 for this purpose?
