It is true, so much can be done even in it's unfinished state. I was able to get so much out of it. I know that I say it a lot, but I mean it 100%, 110% if you may. It was great but now I have moved to other things.
It is me. I have decided that since I haven't been on voxatron for a while I might as well post the unfinished projects I have. To show others what I have accomplished.

Advanced Bowman
Voxlings
Sorry to say but these games will not be finished.
I have apparently moved on. It was fantastic, the 5 years I stuck with Voxatron. Believe me when I say it's not because of the slow developing that made me quit. I was able to create new ideas all the time using the same basic functions.
This is not a final farewell though, I may eventually get back into it, but that is not for certain, and I still check the blog everyday, playing the amazing pico-8 catridges. Thanks to everyone who bothered to read this short message about me.
Thanks,
Jauq
As of Voxatron 0.3.4
The visibility option asks for two numbers:
The first number is meant to represent the "Host's" line of sight, and 72 degrees for every 0.1 (0.5=360).
The second number represents the "Actor's" line of site, it uses the same number system as the first number.
If the host can "see" the actor, and the the host is within the actor's line of "sight", then the modifier activates.
Red is at 0.2, 0.1 (Visible within 144 degrees, makes a cone of 72 degrees)
Orange is at 0.35, 0.05 (Visible within 252 degrees, makes a cone of 36 degrees)
Yellow is at 0.5, 0.02 (Visible within a full circle around you, makes a cone 14.4 degrees).
If you have a controller for Voxatron, then use it for this level, it makes the effect look less rigid
[b]WARNING
Hello! Im planning on buying voxatron cause looks sooooooo good! But
Can someone answer me this? If i buy it, it will start downloading on my pc?
I mean, i buy the game then i have it on my PC?
Or how it works? Do i need wi-fi to play it? Like going to the website to play? Please someone answer
I really wanna get out of any doubt, cause 20$ is too expensive and i wanna spend em in a properly way.
Thanks
I don't know if this is possible or if I categorized it correctly.
Basically, I need to make a person move, but not be controlled by the player and not be an enemy. Is there a way to make a character move by itself in-game? I think I saw this once, but I could be wrong.
Also, is there an easier way to do text/speech than positioning each letter perfectly?
This is my take at making a splatoon-ish game... tried very hard to make bullets change the colour of the ground but doesn't seem to work. If you guys feel like checking out the code and improving it please go ahead :) I did reference some other game cartridges for code.
hope you enjoy it!..
PS: gets a little laggy due to high number of "monster" floors.
