It's time for Toboggoban! A Sokoban-variant featuring wintery vibes and sliding toboggans.

This game was made for the 2019 Advent Calendar - check it out for a bunch of other wintery content from other developers, gradually unlocking throughout December 2019!

Arrows: Move
Z: Undo
X: Reset level

Awkward special note: This game uses a music track supplied by Gruber, but it plays a version of his song which I modified to be less melodic (for a less-distracting puzzle-solving backdrop). My edited version isn't as good as the original song, so if you don't like the gameplay music, don't go blaming it on Gruber (check his profile - his work is A++). His original track plays during the final cutscene, so if you beat the game, you get to hear it properly!

Right. If you can't get past the spikes levels then here are =4= HINTS to help you:

  1. The sleds will slide more than one space according to the direction they are facing.
  2. There may be levels where you have to push one sled up against another to position them correctly.
  3. The tall trees you can pass right in front of them showing you are walking behind them.
  4. Instead of restarting the level each time, just back up a step if you make a mistake.
Use these hints to complete the rest of the levels.

Good game and puzzle. Definitely gets a star.

i like the animations and the rewind. Pretty decent tunes too. not really into puzzlers like this but i can appreciate the requirements to have made it. Impressive.

Just found this through the 2021 advent calendar-- fun puzzles, not too long, and I appreciated the work on the little animation details (snow tracks, the final level, etc).

Top marks for the portmanteau alone, and playing through was very fun (thanks for the single-step rewind!)
