first revision of a lil tank game I've been working on.
Z - fire
X - swap between move / fire modes
left/right - rotate cannon
up/down - move forward or backward relative to cannon when 'move mode' is enabled
the goal is simply to get a high score! powerups are trishot + laser sight, which spawn randomly upon enemy death.
still revising aesthetic design, which may be too cluttered / visually hard to focus on i think.
neat!
need some more polish to make it more replayable but he basics are good.
@Remagamer thank you! i don't usually consider myself a very visually-oriented person at all so i appreciate that.
@freds72 i agree, i've found at this point it's basically impossible for me to die when i'm playing and replaying it doesn't have much meaning. i think i may crack it back open and change how frequently enemies spawn, add rarer powerups as your score increases, and possibly add some enemy variants that crop up here and there as well.
