everything about this is fun and delightful and charming and i love it. music, gfx, characters, dialogue, trading, finding collectibles, story, goofy animations, even the menu design

Just finished it and really enjoyed it. Love how you handled the colors.
Well the others have pretty much summed it up - this was great all around. Not what I was expecting, but quite enjoyable nonetheless!
The hidden carrots were also remarkably inventive, and took advantage of the limited colors in a neat way. The few cosmetic items were also a fun little touch.
I did notice one tiny bug (the chest can be re-opened and its item re-collected an unlimited number of times) but it's not exploitable or game-breaking at all.
This cart is great!
Had some trouble finding the stake but otherwise it was just walking around and finding carrots. They were a lot of fun to find.

Wait, where did the wooden stake and the holy water come in? And what about Mrs. Elsinore's stolen eggs? And someone mentioned a horse complaining of blood loss?
This was much fun, but I feel like I missed something :)
Found (almost) everything, but could not for the life of me figure out how to get the stake. Wandered around the map for 30 minutes without success, must have missed something.

And - kinda laughing out to see how tricky those carrots hides behind the houses, on the bridge and among the trees even with only 2~3 pixels visible.

This is a great adventure game. The colors reminds me of the Hercules monitors of the Intel 8086-286 early dos times.
