Agreed. I think using the built-in glyphs isn't a good choice in this case. It needs to be something more easily distinguished in motion.
Interesting gimmick though. I'm also fond of pink and purple, so I like the color scheme. ;)

I will take a look at the glyphs... maybe just changing the color for each direction would work
- Super cute, I love this! I agree about the glyphs -- slowing the movement of the targets would also help (you might not need to do both but could experiment with it). I hope to see more. :)
Woo, I got from like 4000's into the 6000's with the new glyphs.
I grabbed the cart and tried a few ideas to make them stand out even more, and this is the motif that's consistently getting me in the 7000's now:
Something about these icons allows me to recognize the shape the fastest. YMMV. :)
Anyway, the game is fun. Are you going to extend it?

If I have time I will maybe experiment some of the gameplay ideas I listed at the end of the source code.
Will see if it works out.
Maybe adding items with special effects... or obstacles ...
