I love the simplicity of Pico, but for quick coding like in Game Jams it's nice to have a foundation to work off of. That's why I wrote this toolkit that provides some basic functionality like debugging and physics. Has anyone else done something like this before? Should I add anything else?
Thanks!

I think I've seen various other posts with similar things...but I think a lot of pico 8 users enjoy rolling their own, too, I believe that may be part of the charm of the system for some.

There are a few, yes. See the just-posted Compos, Gryphon 3D engine, and genre-specific frameworks like Advanced Micro Platformer Starter Kit and SCUMM-8.

I recommend creating a new page for your toolkit on the Wiki and add it to the "Tools" category. You can also submit a PR to the Awesome Pico-8 resources list. These things are difficult to keep track of otherwise.

Done! I would really appreciate some feedback - I'm still new to Pico-8 so I might have missed some important bits of functionality.
