Sos was unable to join us at the GIC/PGA this year, so we held a small jam in his honour. A simple game where you have to help Sos make salad, while preventing hot sauce from getting into the salad.
Controls are arrow keys. Prevent only sauce from falling in, if you'll prevent veggies 3 times, you will lose.
There is probably some inside back story to this that I'm not aware of, but its a fun and hilarious little game. It gets frantic once the speed ramps up.. is that hot sauce or a tomato? oh, too late.. haha

I would have "breaks" between levels. That is, the plate is pulled off the screen, the game tones it down, just a bit. Then continues.

Usually after every 100 points, the game gears and slows down, then at 199 it is twice the speed of 99. Hits 200, speed goes down 25%, and repeat the process where 299 is three times speed of 99 and two times speed of 199.

I tried doing some difficulty levels, but was slowly running out of time as the jam was ending, so I cut out the progress balancing code and just added per veggie difficulty increase.

BTW, I'm playing your game a little more. How about the HOT SAUCE makes you lose just one life of your three instead of game over ?
Really quite interesting as it speeds up TREMENDOUSLY in a short time, gets rather challenging !
