Here is a model version of Pallet Town from Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow using a 4-color palette.
The tile-based movement engine comes from the PICOZINE #5 movement article I've written.
Currently nothing is animated, so it looks a little dead.
it's kind of amusing how you can temporarily phase through buildings by holding two orthogonal directions at once
Ha! I hadn't spotted that. A small bug to fix in my engine, clearly.

I took much longer than 2 hours pixelling all the tiles for Pallet :(
