A simple arcade game made with only 500 characters for TweetTweetJam 9.
Use the left and right arrows to move the paddle. Press X to restart.
Score points by bouncing balls on the paddle, with consecutive bounces scoring more points. The game ends after 60 seconds.

473 on my first try. Pretty good! for a 500 character game it's awesome!!
This game has amazing polish. At first it seems unfair, but then you get into the zone and find most of the time you can zip back and forth catching most of them.
There's still some luck. I had one game that I reached 831 points, and then others where I barely reached 400. And then there was this fluke:
I think I reached 1,000 points before I missed one. Then a whole lot fell out at once, and I was left with a small enough set to keep them all in the are until time ran out. I wish I could say this was intentional, but it really wasn't.
