updated:
save tableau
save settings
optional setting: move from foundation
up and down arrows navigate to and from the deck
previous update: undo, persistent score, a no-move resign doesn't ding score
Cool! I like the art and the controls. Is there a way to access cards in the ace piles once you put them there though?
WOW ! This is clearly the best Solitaire version I have come across, @Lark.
First off you use only the keyboard, that's a plus for me, AND when you select a card it shows precisely where it can go and nowhere else.
Not only is this a great solitaire game with exceptional art for the cards, but because of it only showing correct moves, it TEACHES the game additionally.
The only other options I would like would be to SAVE and LOAD your game if you need to return later, and an infinite UNDO so you can try different methods - or recover from a bad move you made.
Also if you deplete the deck, suggest you can click on that card provided it does not go anywhere to move the stack back to the right - the same as clicking the blank place holder does.
Very well done ! Favorited 💗 and gold starred !
@ooooggll One can't access the ace piles because that is part of the challenge. If one puts a card up there too soon it may not be available to move cards around in the stacks later. My strategy is to not put any card in the endzone if it is more than 2 ranks higher than the lowest card in the endzone. I take chances against that strategy when my stacks get stuck. Thanks for saying it's cool!
@dw817 Thanks so much for kind words! Your feedback is very much appreciated. I thought about UNDO but left it out as it allows for "cheating" (but can one really cheat at Solitaire? It's tempting to me, at least :) ) It does stink when you move a card to the endzone or off the draw pile when you didn't want to. A LOAD/SAVE is a very neet idea, if I make an update I hope I can put that in there. Thanks very much for all the positive comments and feedback.
@Lark well every other version of Solitaire I've played allowed you to take cards back from the ace piles so I wasn't sure if it was intended or not.
I'm probably repeating what some people have said, but this really is a great version of solitare. Good job.
Nice solitaire game. Very clean and user-friendly.
@Lark An undo option would make more games winnable and some would appreciate it, but I personally like to do without and treat it like a real game. My win rate is around 40% and I'd like to think that's a pretty good number :P
Some nice-to-have suggestions:
- The game saved your game statistics (and an option to reset it)
- The games counter doesn't go up if the player reshuffles without moving a card in the beginning
- Drawing from the foundation piles like others have mentioned
- Mouse support
@Verb good suggestions, thank you for feedback. 40% is beating the odds!
I found variations on the rules, some easier and some harder than the ones I'm using here. (from "can take cards back from foundations" to "can only go through the deck once") Perhaps I can put them in the settings. It is for the player to enjoy the game after all! Hope you are enjoying it and thanks for the compliments and feedback.
wow! somebody posted a video of a playthrough. Whoever did this you are awesome! thank you.

It even has the finish!
Very well done !!! Spent hours already.
All game no fluff. Great interface !
Excellent solitaire version. Favorited - I keep coming back to play - Klondike is addictive.
updated: undo, persistent score, a no-move resign doesn't ding score
So excited to try out the newest version, I've put dozens of hours into this version on all of my devices, @Lark any way you could allow pulling cards back down from the foundations (the 4 piles you are trying to complete from A through K) in a future update, or have it in the options to enable? That'd turn this version from a 9.9999 to a 10!
@ocxtitan I will add the "pull from foundation" to the upcoming feature list. Thanks very much for your enthusiasm for my Klondike! (other upcoming feature is game persistence)
@Lark bro you are the best, I'm sorry it took me so long to respond, every time I'd think about it I'd get distracted by something, you took a 9.9/10 game and made it go to 11, thank you so much! I prefer to keep the new option disabled and only enable it in those circumstances where I need it to complete a hand, feels better to navigate that way
Klondike Solitaire brings back memories! It's one of the first card games I ever learned to play, and it's stuck with me ever since.
