The code behind this is very sophisticated; i'm having a hard time reverse engineering load_room and all the functions it uses. new_painting_reader and parse_painting are particularly intriguing, is there a name for this kind of technique ?

This is awesome. Really cute and I love the art and music. I haven't seen a game like this on pico 8 so far but it's really nice to see
this is just sooo cute game! i really like some secrets like if you play the piano twice the game will remember that say about it.
Can you add the option to play pool or foosball with the ghosts?
