Vec-Rhytm is a game similar to vib-ribbon. Your goal is to dodge
the obstacles that appear as the music is playing.
There are only 2 songs. This is more of a tech demo than a real game,
I wanted to see if drawing lots of triangles would be viable, It was!
The music titled "Into the belt" was taken from Pico-8 Tunes Vol.2
which can be found here

Nothing happens when you touch the spikes maybe also add a scoreboard for each spike you pass but I haven’t played the game you based it off of so this might be a stupid comment

Pretty nice work! I'd be curious how feasible it is to draw lines put through a camera/perspective matrix, so that you could pan the camera around the line like Vib-Ribbon does.
@Tatery1 You're correct, Vib-Ribbon does both of those things (though it uses abstract shapes to show the score until the end of the song)

i have not played the original game, only seen a video.
from what i can tell, this game is better in a few ways:
- controls are easy to remember
- the music sounds normal
- color changes for mood.
this would be very hard with procedural generation —
so when i first noticed this in the stage 'Into the belt' i said the phrase
> The benefits of hand-made levels - a better score system
- it is easier to understand
- it lets me decide if i won
- that Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing meme is great 🤭
the only 2 issues are:
- to get the best score, i have to move a bit later than the beat,
so i can't feel the rhythm that good - i have to rewatch the LAZ256 logo intro every time i want to play again.
the 'You're Winner' screen should skip to the level select when pressing ❎ or 🅾️
