Amazing, love the trigcircle thingies, collecting berries feels great, lovely sprites.
Very good going in my favorites
Wow -- I really loved this! Haven't played a pico platformer that felt this good in a while. Nice difficulty without being too much, length was just right. Fun berries and bonus level too.
This is great! Your pixels are really lovely, great palette usage. The mechanic feels well thought out and applied.
I encountered a funky softlock with a red orb screen, gonna start a new file and try to recreate. Looking forward to the rest afterward :D
Edit: Hit another softlock on second run. It looks like there're a few frames after screen transition where you can die before your respawn point gets updated? In this case I peeked into a room above me super briefly, fell back in, died quickly (I may have panic teleported for no good reason and died faster than would happen in a normal playthrough), and my relative X/Y to the screen was still from the above room so I respawned indefinitely in some spikes at the equivalent spot of the room I'm actually in.
how to pass second screen?
first screen teaches jump and teleport.
on second screen we can only jump into spikes or teleport to a space that we can also jump to.
this is fantastic! challenging but doable, and the only time I got really stuck it was an optional berry so I moved on eventually.
Smooth platforming, cute animation and ingenious puzzle design.
Here's what I finished with. I really should have ignored the berries on my first playthrough.
What an incredible game! I loved pretty much everything about it, from the excellent controls, to the tight level design, to the impressive visuals. Honestly, this game feels too good to be available for free.
I got all 9 berries in 15:35 minutes.
@rARE I did notice that arrow block, but I did not see how to get there! people told me about
I found 2 or 3 shortcuts since making this video, but for now I'm just happy to have gotten a clear :)
@pancelor: wow, incredible run. I could barely keep up just watching it, even after having played all the levels.
@rarelikeaunicorn Thanks for letting me know! Not sure about the first one, but the second softlock should be fixed in version 1.1.
Your first PICO-8 game?? What a debut!! It's so incredibly polished and you pushed the limits so much, I can't even believe this was made in PICO-8. And the concept and execution of the game itself are very well done. Fantastic job.
amazing. truly amazing.
this doesn't even feel like pico-8 anymore!
deviously difficult yet totally charming - excellent work!
(and yes I finished it!)
i remember seeing this game somewhere, or at least a game very similar to this
This is an amazing game! I completed the demo, but this has gotten me stuck...
AHHHHH this is so cool! Incredibly neat graphics and amazing mechanics, and it's about birds :).
Hi, really liked the game! The puzzles are pretty fun and I like the different mechanics with the teleport orb, like it falling after a teleport, making the player think about how to reach the destination before the orb falls and breaks.
I've found two issues, though. First is that the chains in the background sometimes can be difficult to differentiate from the solid objects due to similarity in colour. The second is that on this one screen I've found a softlock:
Other than that, though, this is a really fun game. Great job!
This is awesome. I love the main mechanic and the player physics feels really nice too. Even the art style is really good. There's not many bad things I can say about this game. I want a sequel.
Wow this is beautiful! I love the art style and the gameplay is absolutely great
Found a softlock. Even when I get out of the game and click continue, it still softlocks me here. Even when I try to teleport to the green thing, softlock. This is how I got it.

Went to the top area after this area and I fell
- When I fell and died in the current area, it teleported me to where I fell. ( Hopefully it made sense )
Amazing puzzle platformer you have here. Notable for the squash n' stretch on the sprite animations alone! But the mechanics and level design is also top notch.
@Wynn I clearly should have stored the time in cartdata as well...
What a game! I tried this a while back but I found it far too difficult. However I recently came back to it and once I got to grips with it I've really enjoyed playing it.
A great concept - lovely sound and graphics. The gameplay is top notch - each new screen seems utterly impossible until something just clicks and you make progress.
Amazing game! I love the mechanics, sprites, levels, and music. Very well designed and thought out. Can't wait to try speedrunning it.
This game is amazing! Controls feel so on point, the mechanics are fantastic and the level design is very creative
So pretty and I love the vibe of it. Really innovative too.
I love it ...
thats my favourite Pico-8 game now (Harolds bad day is also very good).
Minor bug: if you continue playing after finishing the game, you will always respawn in the first screen.
Plumpf pretty sure that's cause it's hardmode and not a bug :p
I LOVED this game, so awesome >:D
Hey, where can I listen to the soundtrack for this game? It's so relaxing I want to use it while drawing
I found a bug where it keeps running left without me touching any controls, guess I am playing an endless runner now.
Still a very nice game though.
Absolutely amazing game! I love the level progression and the difficulty increase feels manageable. Each level has an entirely different gimmick and never feels repetitive. Collecting the blueberries also feels rewarding, however the blueberry levels sometimes might mislead new players. Overall, this is probably my favorite PICO 8 game. Maybe even on par with Celeste
