Great job - one of the best (only?) PICO-8 Sonic clones out there. Nice one! :D
Well, that ended... kinda. Good game. A bit loose on the controls, but that's Sonic for ya.
well, never played Sonic the Hedgehog before, so I have no idea what I am doing. :-)
Interesting little game! I like the cute art style and the relaxing music.
However, I think the decision that rings should not protect you from damage is a bit punishing, especially with the screen crunch. Also, I found Soynic's physics a bit like a Megaman with acceleration cranked up to 11.
Still, it was an enjoyable two minutes! :)
Good but holding down the JUMP button does not work if you are rapidly going hitting left or right. Are you using BTNP(4) ?
Nice, but might want to smooth out the hills a bit, they're kinda jumpy!
