I've been using pico8 for some time now, but this is the first time I officially publish a cartdridge.
The game is based on a game I originally released for Commodore 64 computer, that was written in Basic.
It's basically a puzzle game whose purpose is to eat all the fruits on the screen and then move to the next screen.
The game is not finished and some levels are simply drafts, but fully working and can be completed.
I am very curious to know your opinions.
Really neat concept! May need some animations...
You did this for the C64? Cool!
Thanks for appreciation!
Do you think the game needs more snake or background animations?
Yes, there's a C64 version of Gravity Snake here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/17Iyc7717vxOLcOY0mljCT34u2O532y8R
Bug report: If on the last level two movable objects connect, then gravity does not work on them.
This is really cool, keep it up! The game mechanics are very simple to understand and they make great puzzles. The Insidious Castle level was very tricky and I think it was harder than levels 8-11.
Thanks erictheepsilon for playing my game!
I know levels difficulty it's not correctly balanced :)
Some levels are only drafts.
The concept is cool, it would be great to have more animation to make the think live :)
Really cool game; The idea that new paths are opened up when you grow feels really clever. Add that on top of having to worry about gravity as well it gives you a lot to keep track of while you're trying to solve the puzzles. neat!
@Tofu_Shop: thanks for your appreciation and for the accurate analysis of the game! :)
@dhostin: I think some animations will be introduced!
I had a similar problem with stuck objects.

Interesting gravity puzzle. Reminds me an old Nintendo game called simply, "Banana Puzzle."

In it, you can dig through the ground but you cannot go UP into a blank at any time, and you will also fall if a blank is below you. This makes it tricky for the mole to grab all of the pink bananas and his girlfriend.
@Naufr4g0: Yes, I know, but at the right time I would like to ask for permission to use the level design.
It is nice to have a snakebird clone in pico-8! And I like the "burrow" mechanic, it is a nice edition!
