Kitty on a mission
Avoid snakes and the bat.
Collect hearts and spinning fish bones.
My first game in PICO-8.
No music because I cant create a tune to save my life.

The AI for the snakes is interesting, it's like they're just dumb enough that they don't follow you super close and you can avoid them. :P
Adorbs, though as I didn't read the instructions first I wasn't sure if I was successfully collecting Some Valuable Thing with the fish or getting myself in trouble by leaping headlong into a Deadly Spinning Sword.
Neat game! My daughter likes to (try to) play this.
She's only 3 and a half though, and the bat keeps getting her. Also, we can't seem to get a controller to work on the web-browser on the forum so she has trouble moving around with the arrow keys.
Soooo, I made a couple modifications:
1) only 1 snake is spawned at the beginning
2) new snakes spawn every 10 points...
3) except that bats spawn instead every 50 points.
It gets pretty nuts around 70-80 points, but should be easy enough for her to play more than 5 seconds now!
