UPDATE: final version
Goal is to get the Lemming to the small green tree (to the next screen).
He is able to climb 1 block unit.
Since he has no parachute, he dies if the cliff is higher than 2 units.
Buttons:
arrows .. move/rotate block
c .. drop block
x .. restart level (if no chance of winning)
3 Levels for now.

A "fast forward" button would be nice to have, to be able to shorten the times when you wait for the lemming to move out of the way :)

Okay, look, I really don't wanna come off...I don't even know how that'd come off, but a lot of PICO-8 games lack music, and the synths got SO much potential, plus, it's one of the only things I kinda know how to do...uh, anyway, I feel like this could use some great music, and if you're looking for someone to do it, uh...jeez, just drop me a message if you want this game to have music. Sorry if this is coming off conceited, it just...it'd be so easy, and it'd enrich the experience by so much.
A new version with music by Pizza, lots of levels and slightly altered logic is coming soon!

Concept is an interesting mix and has that same feel of pressure Lemmings often has.

Love the idea; love the design, art and animations. My only suggestion would be to make the "next block" part of the UI a little clearer, as it took me a while to see it.
