Playable chess in Voxatron. Not much else to say about it. If you find something wrong or got some feedback, let me hear it!
Er... okay....
My only suggestion is that you should make the squares bigger so the character has a little more wiggle room to push the pieces and not accidentally push other pieces. Also, they should be carryable, if they're not carryable already.
You can carry and throw the pieces. I will look into making the squares bigger. I want the board to fit on the whole screen plus having some space to take the pieces off the board.
It would obviously be a lot more convienient to just play one of thousands other chess games you can find online, and even in Windows, but wanted to do something different. This one obviously requires two people to play it :P
well maybe someone could use it with the 2 players future update
Finally got around updating this.
Changes:
- Bigger board
- Changed to new default character
- Removed peagun - no ranged weapon
- Changed friction of the chess pieces
- Added label
I like it a lot more with a bigger board and it was a good suggestion. There isn't as much space to put the pieces away and might have to think of a solution to that. Don't think I will update this again until the multiplayer is here so I know what to tweak.
