

WIP
Inspired by amidar-style games.
Instructions:
- cursor keys move red getaway car
- avoid other cars
- surround a city block to find key to unlock gates
- open gates along city wall to escape with money
- press 'x' to drop bomb if you have one
Future:
- add music and sound
- improve HUD
- improve AI of police cars
- develop scoring/bonus system
- ?change theme



An interesting cart. The movement around the corners is too "sticky" for me and led to more frustration than enjoyment. I felt that often I would be caught because I couldn't make the turn rather than by a lack of planning.
Is there an issue with the bomb? On level 5, I activated the bomb and 2 of the cars stayed upside-down for ages whilst the police car, after a short delay, carried on moving around. Is this intentional?
I'd also like the AI of the police cars to be less random. Such as a slower police car that actively hunts the player down. Or a police car that is accelerates on the straights, but takes corners much slower than the player, giving more of an element of strategy.
I hope you continue developing this. Is feels very retro and could be a lot of fun.
