I first started this project to see if day trading stock graphs could be generated by flipping a coin. That is the base code of this game now.

I want your feedback:
- Gameplay - Is it fun and intuitive?
- What shop items should I add?
- Any other data needed in the stock graph?

I liked it. Though I was a little confused by the controls as when you're in the menu that says use the arrow keys to buy and sell, they don't work. You have to come out of that menu for them to work. A little unintuitive but I figured it out.
My playthrough saw the stock price bouncing on the zero a lot, but that may have just been because I was diamond handing after buying all the stocks I could near the bottom. I noticed as I started selling the price crept up, so I guess the player trades affect the price or algo?
I'd like to be able to zoom out and pan around the chart. Perhaps switch to 1/5/10/30 minute candlesticks to become more of an idle game and the millisecond one for a quicker game. EDIT: You could also pre-generate some background data before the trading day starts to give an idea to the player of what's going on with the stock, too.
You've got something here. If it's not too CPU intensive perhaps you could run different stocks/crypto in a sort of market that you can overview or split screen them to buy/sell several different stocks at once.
EDITED TO ADD: Shorting stocks would be nice, too.
Charting tools like boxes and lines can come later as things get more complex.
It's gotta be called Wall Street Bets haha!

@Diablothe2nd OMG! Such good feedback! Rn I am working on a save-key system, so that all your progress and data is saved (just not the stock graph itself). But after I push out that update today, I will work on your feedback!
Also, I would love to work with you more closely since you obviously know about the stock market. If you have discord, DM me: rasi7706
Lastly, the stock market is 100% random. Just a coin flip.

@JimboTheGod - After thinking a little more about you saying it's just a coin flip - Markets don't tend to be all that random IRL. There are trends, news events, economic events and such that trigger changes, even CEOs that say dumb things on social media can tank a stock. There are resistance points that the price either bounces on or dives through, causing a bull or bear run. You can get as complicated as you like with this if you want :)
