Has anyone used a 32KB flash chip to store a Pico8 game on, then read/load that game via a raspberry pi?

I'm thinking this could be a fun and cheap way to make physical game cartridges.

you definitely should do it!!

Realistically it would be cheaper to get a mass-produced item with more storage capacity than 32KB, like a microSD card. Not as cool though.

I do have a couple of 32KB EEPROMs lying around...

Yeah i'm just thinking that a small flash/eeprom would be really cheap (especially if brought on a reel). As you say, 32KB might not be as common these days, so might be cheaper to buy a 64/128kb version for example. But first I want to prove the concept.

@Soupster, would you be interested working on something together?
