Micro Dig Deep is a retro demake of Miner: Dig Deep, an old favorite Xbox Live Arcade indie game.

You are in search of the worlds largest diamond. In this procedurally generated mine, there's ore to discover and sell for upgrades, but don't get stuck and be sure to watch out for falling boulders in the dark! If you do get stuck, there is a "Retreat!" option in the Pico8 menu to get you back to the top.

Upgrades

  • [8x8]
    Torches increase your lamp light.
  • [8x8]
    Ladders build a climbable section up to 4 tiles high, as long as they have already been mined
  • [8x8]
    Elevators are expensive but they dig down 60 tiles to allow you to zip up and down very quickly
  • [8x8]
    The coveted drill. Dig much faster (and get a new fancy hat).
  • Plus lamp upgrades, pick upgrades, pack upgrades, and more!

This game isn't short: it could take hours to get to whatever is at the bottom of this mine.

I think you messed up the ui, the jump and dig buttons are swapped around compared to what you put on the game. Very cool game otherwise, love it!
