This is a really clean UI that feels good to use (although a button to switch between tools would be great)* I was glad to see you implemented some Picross QOL features such as being able to pass over painted blocks when smashing. It's really smart how it automatically shrinks the puzzle to fit the bounds of the drawing. Everything is just very polished; it's so satisfying.
I was confused about the paintbrush cursor at first: I thought it was a pen nib pointed the opposite way. It was easy enough to figure out, though.
* I understand that you limited yourself to two buttons, but perhaps if clicking 'x' once changed tools (down and up in under, say, 5 frames) while holding it increased pan speed.
Thanks for the feedback; yeah, I see switching tools gets kind of cumbersome. Even with the quick-jump to origin, you still have to go all the way back to where you were. So I'll look at that again.
