The Numbers affect the severity of the corruption, and also various variables for each different corruption type. For example, corruption 8 fills the memory with the corruption number. (btw corruption 8 with number 1 is especially fun)
could you make a version of this that's just normal celeste instead of celeste 1.6

Q: why do the sprites look so weird?
A: the textures are shifting slowly to the left in the spritesheet, and the pointers for the textures are still referencing the same location while the textures scroll left (probably lol)
Q: why is the music weird
A: i have no idea
uhm hmm i cant find the exact point at which the music changes but it should be at around when the map gets corrupted
1800m:
beat the next level around when the top spikes disappear, the drum (noise? bass?) part of the music was muted then turned into a lot of bass noises combined with the summit music
around 7 minutes in, the original left-side madeline spawn gets overwritten by the map corruption, the sprites are messy and the music eventually stops with an abrupt "kshh"

but the death and respawn sounds are nice so thats good i guess

edit: turns out that it was just a coincidence and i collected a balloon right as the music glitched out and started beeping
