Storyline:

You are a fan of mythology and you know that unicorns can time travel. you've read that there's still 1 unicorn alive in the world. You also know why; they have been erased by the gods because they could alter time. Unicorns are, contrarely to popular believe, very aggresives and if you inject their blood into your system, you'll also be able to time travel. Now you need to find a way to find the last unicorn. You've heard that there was a unicorn horn somewhere in the world ( unicorn horns let you travel trough time once). with alot of research you know where the last unicorn might be hiding; niagara falls july -5400 BC. There you go.

ok I shall give you a review now:
first, I noticed none of the newest levels are using the posting suggestion here

it's a shame, because it really was a nice idea.

at the florest level, I loved your graphics, the trees look great and the entrance to the grass temple seems awesome! However, you abused of quantity and lacked of quality, how am I supposed to defeat a monster that shoots on every direction without any warning with a sword?
the monsters were hard and the boss was easy (it's supposed to be the opposite) but the design of the monsters and the temple were amazing, can't say the same about the florest, I got stuck several times.

almost the same thing for the bamboo forest level, the monsters were too many of the same kind and didn't even do much than multiply themselves! the water animation though, were pretty and the rain dropping was great!

I didn't finish the other levels yet (the difficulty was too much) but soon I'll finish this review.


Thanks for the comment, I'll make another monster tye for the bomboo forest and fix the normal forest and make warning animation ( I know the red ones are hard, I was expectnig to fix them but thanks ! )


oh but I didn't said that for the red ones, I was talking about the big green ones, the red ones don't shoot in every direction, just the front.


It' fixed now they have a new attack pattern with warning ! Thanks for pointing that out. I also made the overall level easier. Removed swamp boss and less enemy's in some area.


Is the jump height less than default? For an action-oriented level likes this one, more mobility is better and more fun. I felt that it was too easy to get swamped by enemies with no way to avoid taking damage. A fix for this might be some more varied terrain to allow for better escape routes. Just throw in a few platforms here or there, or even some pillars to provide cover.

A fairly major annoyance was that many enemy projectiles were the same color as the ground, making it very difficult to see them and even more difficult to dodge them.

the world map idea is excellent and something I hadn't seen yet!

Played some more ^__^

My favorite parts were the swamp, which looked very nice and was a pretty unique setting (the boss was also fun and nicely animated), and fighting the scorpions in the desert. Great job balancing the difficulty of the enemies and the speed of their bullets, etc.

Also, the room in the desert with the big sand-spewing guys was the most well designed, in my opinion. The bridges were fun to use tactically, and my plan to knock one of the big guys into the central pit worked perfectly! Add more cool rooms like that and you're on your way to an excellent game!


I redezigned the sand boss ( unique boss ) and will redesign de swamp boss too ( imo I didnt liked the animation ) I also changed the attack of leaf boss ill upload another version soon !

PS: next area is zone 51


It was fun, so definitely keep at it! Once 0.2.10 comes out (hopefully this monthnudge nudge) you could add cool custom weapons that the bosses of each zone drop. Then it would really feel like you conquered each boss, plus new things are always fun to play with. Just a suggestion though!


Yeah weapon editor is going to be something I'm looking forward !
