I wondered why I was not logged in when opening some links, but I was logged in in other tabs.
Found out that the website answers to both lexaloffle.com and www.lexaloffe.com, but logged in status is not shared.
Possible solutions:
- change cookies to be valid for both variants
- pick one variant as canonical and redirect transparently
Thanks!
But that's the wrong way around! I remember when http://no-www.org was all the rage...
Come at me
(actually I don't have a strong preference, but prefixed lexaloffle links and search engine results were already www)

k ;)
Chromium, which is the basis for nearly all modern browsers, other than Firefox, now hides the entire "https://[www.]" prefix unless you click to edit the URL, meaning that the people the article wants to educate about the internet not being just the web will never even see the lesson.
(But I don't actually care which way it is either.)
