Well done - good basis to add some levels!
The boss explosion is really neat (the semi-transparent ones)!
Player explosion is way too long (and the effect is a bit meh imho).
Suggest to add some shadows (using flicker) to make it clear you are a figther plane!
Really good. It seems in the beginning you are using BTNP() ? Suggest you use BTN() if you are. Other than that, one very solid topview shooter. Highly reminiscent of arcade Raiden.
