Here is my Pico-8 Version of Atari's Missile Command.

In 1980, David Teurer programmed the video game Missile Command for Atari.
The game became one of the most successful games of all time. KLOV

Have fun playing and I'm looking forward to your comments...

Such a great port of the original. Love how hectic it gets!

Love it!

Nice - interesting to see the different design choices people make with the same game.

=NOW= this is one of my favorite games. Just needed a different set of controls.

MISSILE COMMAND ... I added MOUSE controls.

Mouse support works very well. Very nice :)

Good game. This reminded me of that Extra Credits episode on narrative mechanics.

A bit of constructive criticism if you want it: The controls feel a bit sluggish to me, due to me naturally wanting to tap the keys to make small adjustments. I don't know if that happens to anybody else, or if it is just that I play KSP too much.
A suggestion to fix this only if you wanted to would be to set the Xspeed or Yspeed to a starting value that is high enough for the cursor to start moving immediately, then increase the speed as long as you held the button down.

On another note, I noticed you didn't incorporate the three missile silos/bases the original had. Was this a purposeful decision or did you just not need them?
