About

This is my first game with PICO-8 and it was mostly made as a learning experience, but I'm happy with how it turned out. The particle effects were inspired by Tera: Mind over Matter, although aren't quite as refined!

Controls

Up/down/left/right: Change direction
X (hold): Speed up

That music is totally grooving!
What do the green pellets do? Just for score?

Hey , cool game , but because it's a scoring game , you really should store the best score ( using cartdata )

@JeremyRedhead cheers man! yep, the green pellets just add 50 to your score instead of 10.

@Pordrack that's exactly what I'm doing, is it not working correctly for you? your high score is displayed on the main menu.

Probably the best version of Snake I've played on Pico-8, and the music is, as everyone else is saying, really catchy.
