:: Something

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

I would like to test out my post here. Is it ok to do this: both?

The Lexaloffle

by John White

was 5 o'clock sharp when i saw a thing move

gleaming a gleam in the cool winter blue

it sprung into shape, what a skuffle it made!

i jumped to the the ground, for a moment i stayed

watching to see what the thing it would do

oh golly my life and my plans, they were through

the thing with it's eyes they do beedy at me

an-tennas a-flailingling, i pleaded with thee:

oh please lexaloffle, don't suffocate me!

i'll make you a sandwich, i'll bring you some tea!

there's mountains beyond full of fluffybum flies

they're full of vi-o-ba - that's good for your eyes

the long orange thing, catipillar in style

it's tail went upwards and turned with a smile

its dozens of knees and its dozens of toes

were wobbling and waving , a wizard's old nose

"oh person, you be" it did think and i heard,

"this shyness and fear and contempt is absurd -

i happen to be in this cool winter blue

just dreaming a dream of the air and the view

with that it did bundle where once it did lay

it must've just wanted a sniff of the day

that strange orange beast it will always remain

a memory of fondness, a memory to stay
