Here's my latest creation. The goal is to score points by making closed paths. You lose a life when you try and place a tile where it won't fit with the existing tiles on the board. There's a timer which forces you to place if you haven't when it runs out. Bonus points if you make a closed loop with none of the end cap pieces.

Controls: Arrow to move the cursor, button 1 to place a tile and button 2 to hold.

Let me know what you think. :)

Hey, I really enjoyed this! I like turn timers a lot and I like having to play around mistakes. I'd love to be able to pick a difficulty level, or see the timer speed up over time once I've got a bit of a scheme going. Also, the sprite for my held piece doesn't seem to be landing in the box in the upper right?

Thanks for the comment. The timer does get faster over time but maybe too slowly? Difficulty settings could be a good idea. I may have a mess with the parameters.

Good spot on the held piece. I moved the box but forgot to move the piece rendering. :)

I'll probably put up an update when I've got time tomorrow.
