This is a remake of the old fishing minigame from Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening, it's not precise in any way. I've used nothing but my naked eyes recreating this; along with some nostalgia. Growing up, this was probably one of my favorites for the Game Boy Pocket.

jesus christ, the town theme sounds almost exactly like it did on the Game Boy. I never noticed any similarities between Pico-8's voices and Game Boy. Weird.
I've never played the original you are remaking here, but this is more fun than the fishing in Everybody's Golf (PS4) and for that alone I say well done :D
