Another demake of another mobile game, I guess that's what I do now. Try the original Ballz on iOS and Android - it's pretty fun!

I've been playing this for about 10-15mins (currently up to #38 blocks) and I'm loving it. Just when I think I've found a good tactic, I go and waste a shot or two.

This is so fun. I made it to 105 before my wife suggested we go get brunch. The collision has some big issues (balls bounce in unexpected directions). However, the odd collision behavior doesnt really lessen the playability since it still behaves consistently. Good job! I'd love to see an end screen when you lose, rather than it just starting over (I know it is a work in progress and that that probably isnt the priority at this phase).

My approach to collision is super naive so there's definitely a lot to improve there, I've been spoiled by engines doing it for me!
Very fun. I made it to level 61. (Arrival of the 62 blocks killed me.)

BTW, you can sometimes make the ballz go through the squares if it hits the corner just the right way. And I could get the ballz exit the play area on the right side.
That's part of the strategy. Or at least it seems balanced knowing this behavior is there.

Fun mechanics (and thought provoking at one same time). Impressed. And though a demake, I think it's a very nice one. Good use of pico8 capabilities.
Past 100, this game just isn't fun. However, that's pretty part for Ballz, so well done.
Fun game! I'll definitely be playing more of this one. I'd like to see a 4x/8x speed up... at one point I got the ball on a shallow bounce at the top with some 200+ blocks and it got stuck up there for a long time, even with 2x speed. Still, great fun.
