Wow, I just discovered pico-8 and this has been the first thing I stumbled upon that really wowed me. The music was damn pleasant and you really showed me what this console is capable of in terms of visuals.
HOI Jakali! Hanhog's Adventures in Vetland is a mod of Jelpy, so check that out! There's a fair amount of Jelpy still in there - mostly character movement code, some of the ground sprites left over are modified but most of the sprites are new. The background is also new and I wrote the music :) The main change is that instead of jumping on enemies heads Hanhog gets to listen to the horses, including Paddy Dowd and Peddy the Antichrist and get an apology from the one who headbutted her.
Simple, but pretty cute and neat. The sprite work is great, especially with those trees, and as others have said the music is quite nice.
