Added some code tonight... Improved scrolling and working on graphics. Roadside scrolling cheap for now.. Will fix.

Sweet, Spy Hunter was one of the first arcade games I played and loved it to death once I discovered it was on the NES too. I always felt special when I made it to the boat stage.
Can't wait to see a Pico-8 version, should be fun! Great start...
Hey shadowbyte. To answer your question, I would love to help you with the audio. I'm not a good composer but I'm pretty good at covering songs by ear, and I can do sound effects too. What kind of music you need?

Improving scrolling a bit. Shocking how much you can toss on the screen at each pass. I'll refine the road edge code soon.
