I have downloaded and installed the windows version.
Everything seems to be fine until I try to run the program.
It opens to a screenshot of my desktop and doesn't render video.
Upon some frustrated button mashing, I noticed some screenshot files had been saved to my desktop.
The screenshots seem to show that the program is running properly, sans video output.

As that I am new to this program, can't see anything on my screen, and can't seem to find any documentation on the issue, I'm reaching out for assistance.

Here is my system info: (As I know it)
-Windows 7: Home Premium 6.1.7601 (SP1)
-Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz
-TPMem/TVMem: 511MB/1.5GB
-Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
-Installed PICO-8 v0.1.6 (Alpha)

Pico-8 uses SDL for graphics. Can you run other SDL apps?

Maybe check your graphics diver and/or graphics adapter?
