Controls:
Arrows to move
Z to shoot forward.
X to shoot backward.
Notes:
- Kinda WIP. It's got a bit of playability, I guess.
- Music sucks. Can a composer help me?
- Not sure how faithful to the source material I want to be.
Heh, this is pretty rad already. (If you wanted to get really sassy about twin-stick you could use the player two dpad controls for the shooting direction, though that feels a bit hacky and in any case I like the idea of having to deal with the limited forward/backward variant as a gameplay change.
In Llamatron on Atari ST, the action button was used to lock fire direction. Then you can walk one way and fire the way you have chosen.

I might be able to make you some smash tv music depending on how far you'd wanna take this project.
It's not going to be a complete clone of the game down to the pixel, just a simple homage to the original.

Hey, ur cool and stuff, but it´s kinda shit being too poor to BUY an Copy of PICO-8. Y' know, the people behind this put lot of work into it, and its just crap to steal their work.
