I remembered playing the original, I had a really good time with this until I accidentally deleted a character in the menu! I had no idea that the choices were characters and that pressing that would delete it.
I really like how there isn't any text at all in this game, so maybe like a confirmation button press or an exclamation point could be put before deleting a character. I delete a character before no knowing it did anything, and then was a bit confused why I was doing the same first battle again.
@Munchkin hi, thanks for playing and commenting! I was a bit afraid that this would happen. Maybe I'll remove the delete function all together, I want the game to be explorable.
I loved the combat in this game! I found it so satisfying zipping around and spam slashing enemies….awesome game
I am Japanese and am writing this text using a translation site.
The original version of this game was the first pico8 game I played and I remember playing itch back then.
It was really, really fun and I loved the game, so I am really happy that there is a sequel.
I have already completed more than 10 rounds of the game, and the abundance of collectibles that I never get tired of no matter how much I play is just as great as in the original version.
Thank you for a fun game.

Encountered a weird error. I was on the final "world," the one with red brick walls, and I picked up a staff that had double wall phasing. When I used it, it gave me this error. I'll have to find my old staff again later
