Space Typer
Introduction
You are an astronaut on a mission to protect the solar system from waves of incoming asteroids! Type the correct code sequence for each asteroid to destroy it before impact. Watch out—some asteroids are tougher than others. How long can you survive and defend the planets? Good luck!
Instructions
Each asteroid is destroyed by typing the correct code displayed below it. The code is a combination of the following characters: left, right, up, down, X, and O.
What a fun concept! I got to Neptune before dying. I like the way the challenges ramped up, and the nice balance where you get some harder asteroids at the beginning of the stage then it slows down a little to let you regroup. Also thought the way the new speeds and mechanics are introduced worked well. It's all very intuitive to play.
One suggestion - put the player's score on the game over screen! I was wondering how many points I ended up with. Would also be great to track the player's high score.
Thanks for your feedback! This is the first game that I have developed, and any feedback is much appreciated. The idea about the score is great, I will add it in all convenient places and screens. I also may adjust the difficulty, since it takes a lot of focus in order to pass levels 7 and 8 😁
