Pixelmind V1.0

My little take on the classic Mastermind....

Controls:
left/right to navigate left and right
up/down to shuffle through faces
z/x to submit guess (and to continue when round ends).

For each guess submitted little lights show you info about the guess:
GREEN: is a correct guess and correctly placed.
YELLOW: is part of the lineup, but is misplaced.
RED: is not part of the lineup

You've got 7 tries for each game and it gets a bit more difficult for each level, as you are awarded stars - No really, real 80s superstars! - for each level completed. This makes it a little more difficult.

Hope you enjoy it, and let me know if you think 7 tries is too much or too little!

Ha, this is really nice. And those are some solid 80s superstars, for sure.

nice! I got a new face!

Hey, really nice game.

At first I was "what, it doesn't make any sense" and then, after a few tries, I was "wow it not only DOES make sense but is also relly cool" :)

I lost after getting the man with the brown cape :)

Real nice game :) plain simple and lots of fun. Funny tunes tho & cewl graphics !

The pictures reminds me of Sherlock :)

Thanx for the feedback! Nice to see you liked it, and yes, I tried to make a kind of progression that makes sense if you invest a little bit of time in it.

"The man with the brown cape?" Oh, come on - think of the biggest movie ever made! Hmm.... Maybe I need to work on my pixeling skills then! :)

And btw, I haven't seen "Sherlock" before now!

I AM THE PIXELMIND! Very fun.

Who is the guy in glasses, the first reward?
I got Obi Wan alright! It is great art! I wish it had more stars!

Hehe! I had a great time pixeling these, although I will admit the likenesses may not always be spot on. The first reward is supposed to be Bill Gates. He was not not really intended to be a 'star', but well, he ended up being one. :)

I feel pretty unstoppable right now. My Pixelmind strat is totally solid.

It just goes on and on... I wonder exactly how low the odds I'll lose have to be? It's got to be like, that one time when all four are the last guy in the list that'll stump me. Maybe. Maybe not even that.

Here's a GIF of my moves in an arbitrary round.

AHA! I finally lost! There's the weakness in my strategy: Finding three of the correct slots "too early", so that I can't cycle through the remainder fast enough to realize there's a duplicate.

If I corrected this by intentionally giving wrong answers looking for the yellow light when I know where 3 of them are supposed to go in my search for the fourth, you could totally add another two celebrities to my list and I'd still probably be okay for the most part.
