Here's a lightgun game I made in an hour or so.
Criticism welcome. Cheers!
I like it! It's hard to tell (at first) that you can't shoot while hurting from touching a red square, though - I thought the blinking cursor was a framerate issue on my end. I was also under the impression that I had to shoot square 1 first, square 2 second etc. And I figured out that I can 'cheat' by moving the mouse to the border area, where the squares can't touch me (although thats less of a cheat and more of a tradeoff of safety vs time needed to aim at the correct square). Excited to see where you're taking this!
@pdog Thanks dude, I agree that the invulnerability state could be more obvious, and yes, the outside border is a feature (said like a true game dev, lol). I don't think I will actually turn this into a full game, based pdog, but I will make it so that the required click order is sequential, rather than a countdown, in future games.
Great idea. The music you used creates a really explosive effect. Can you share the name of the song?

I don't recall using any music, but the jingle for loading the next level was thrown together by me, and has no name.
