This would be really awesome if you had to place your bets with a dodgy bookie character. I actually think this game has potential to be a fun little pick and play type of game. I am yet to use the data functions in Pico-8. Awesome job!
This is the second lobo game and it is good because it reminds me of the chaos races in sonic adventure and it is like a virtual pet but I feel that the game is very automatic so it is intermediate

You should give each bunny a bet multiplier each round like real horse races do, where the lower the multiplier, the more likely they are to win
