I want to write a post on a PICO-8 color study I did about a year ago. I think it has potential to help PICO-8 artists new and seasoned. I'm not an art student or a journal writer, I just want to write a post about my discovery, but I'm poor at writing walkthroughs.

If anyone has tips, I'd be thrilled to hear them out.

Well, I'd recommend first writing down a list of topics you want to touch on, then organizing them in some logical way. For something informative like this, general to specific is usually a good approach. After you've got some general topics with a basic flow, start filling out your outline by listing specific ideas under the different topics, even if they're rough or fragmentary. Once you've got a good amount of specific things you want to talk about, then just rewrite and revise until it reads well from start to finish. Yeah, I realize that's just basic essay writing advice, but it works.
