made an animated squirrel, gave up on legs and paws as it is too difficult even though I got the forwards and backwards constraints working
Could be the start to a clicker game? This is really cool though! Very creative!

I was thinking of maybe a nokia snake type game collecting acorns, the squirrel is a bit too big but was thinking if there was a simple small box screen pinned in the middle showing a stick figure squirrel and then the full size squirrel moves around a corresponding scrolling map in the background. not sure how well it will work with snake being right angle turns only.

I had tried to make an 8 bit version before (sounded really lifeless without understanding some of the conventions of old 8bit music which Pico8 makes easy), so had the midi already. Typed it in and then messed around with the effects and instruments. I like how it feels more like discovering music than writing it in Pico 8
