Good job.
The pipes and bird have a sky blue outline (color 12). This can be removed by setting the color 12 to transparent before drawing them with palt(12,true).
Once the pipes and bird are drawn, turn blue back to opaque with palt(12,false). Otherwise, the blue sky will not be drawn next frame when calling map() for your background, and you'll get a black sky instead.
