Whenever I start up a game using the new web player, it says "future-version: 5", then after some time passes, I get "timeout :(". I figure I need to update the web player by clearing my cache, no biggie.

The new player gets to "loading cartridge..." then the web page crashes! (In Google Chrome, this is "Aw, snap!")
Offline carts still work, thank god.

Zep, don't sweat. Every game/program's pre-release stage is rocky.

I had to clear my browser cache to get it to load 0.1.2, ctrl+R wouldn't do the trick.

but 0.1.2 crashes my browser (Chromium for Linux and Android Chrome) =(

I have the same issue on chrome, it crashes when loading the cartidge, even after clearing the cache. It works fine on firefox though. Maybe uploading a new version of the game with the new Pico 8 will work?

I tried that when I updated PicoMan Refreshed, and it didn't work.

Hm, works fine here for Firefox. No refreshing/clearing cache needed.

Looking into the Chrome crash..

Caching issues that cause the "future version" message and timeout should be fixed now (I'm bumping the filename of the javascript player for each new version to force a new download).

I still don't understand the cause of the crash, but I've uploaded a new version that seems to be more stable and is now live. I recompiled with a larger emscripten heap size. It's possible that it was just running out of memory, but the original heap size was quite generous.

Please let me know if you still get the "aww, snap" error page.

no more crashing! \o/ thanks!

Weird -- exported carts (which use very similar code) don't seem to trigger the error. Let me know if this works under Chrome too:

Hollow Runner

that also works under chrome!

For me, the box open up about 1/4 of the height, and does NOTHING.
The HTML port works, though.
I did indeed clear my cache.

Yes, both hollow runner and carts on the bbs doesnt crash anymore ! Good job !

Oh, now it decides to work!
